Overview
This older version of the RF232 had a DC95 modem. The PS232 was located at the base station computer and served as a link to the field stations and repeaters. It included a 110/220 Vac to 12 Vdc transformer, DC95 modem, RS-232 port, and internal mount for the radio. Radio, antenna cable, and frequency-matched antenna were purchased separately. The computer needed to be IBM-PC compatible with an RS-232 serial port. AC power was required. Because the PS232 was intended for desktop operation, mounts were not supplied
