This barometer was similar to the PTA427, except it operated over a 600 to 1060 millibar range. On special order, the PTA427A (pn 7731) covered a 550 to 1060 millibar range. A 12 V switching circuit reduced sensor power consumption. Sensor warm-up time of up to 3 seconds was recommended before measurement and after 12 V power was supplied.
