urgent: CELL215 suddenly connection fail, how to check from remote

uta Jun 5, 2024 07:33 PM

Hi

I have a CR6 connected to a new CELL215 modem by CS I/O port setup recently and latest succesfull connection yesterday 4.june.

Today i did not succeed to connect at all, set up a schedule every 15 min during the last 12 hours. The system is now mounted in a remote area and is very difficult to reach. I can not imagine any reason why it should have got a power fail or damage since yesterday.

Is there any possibility to test whether the modem is in contact with the LTE network? Like sending an SMS to the SIM-card mobile number and get an answer feom it (AT command)?

The status in konectgds is "not connected". Its using the seros.konectgds.com:9190

Can I get trough the konectgds-service to the modem with ping?

Any help is appreciated. My backflight is going in 16 hours :-(

Cheers

Uta from Norway, Longyearbyen at Svalbard at the moment.

my power on schedule for the cellular is 1440 - 10 - 1441.

Since 1440 means always on I assume that the 10 and 1441 are not relevant

Solved for now

Finally I got connection "without doing anything" and figured out that the modem was busy with many watch dog errors. Why this happend is another story I may come back to.

Try utilizing a web browser from your faraway location to access the CELL215 device if it has a scratch games web interface or enables remote management. Try to connect by entering the device's IP address or hostname in the address bar of your browser.
