CS241 read as a PT1000 on an external converter

Hi

I have a project in which I will use a series of CS241 probes, but for the sake of space and cable optimization I would like to know if it is possible to use this probe as a pure PT1000, that is, remove the resistance that the connector has and measure it as a PT1000 in an external converter (for example, one that could read several PT1000 and that could connect to the datalogger via ModBus, for example). Thanks in advance.

See figure 7-2 in the CS241 manual.

Tape off both Black wires so they make no electical contact to anything else. If current is not allowed to flow through the resistor, it will not affect the circuit resistance.

Then you can use the Red and White wires like a normal 4 wire PRT.
