Dear all,
I have a AM16/32 (using it for the first time), there are some wind direction and wind speed sensors connected to it.
When I power it up, it starts making strange buzzing noises in a ~1s frequency.
It is properly wired, supplied with 12V and grounded to the Earth.
Now I am of course worried it will break or go up in flames or something. Did anybody ever experience it?
Best regards
It is normal to hear a faint clicking sound at the frequency of the measurements as the unit has small mechanical relays.
If you are hearing moises when the logger is not making measurements (e.g. has no program running), please check your power supply is stable and check the connections of the clock and enable lines.
If the noise still persists with the clock and enable lines grounded you may have a hardware fault.
Thank you, that lets me sleep better :)
