Hi There,
I have a new sierra wireless fastrack FXT009 modem (formally wavecom fastrack) and this modem controls the GPRS connection and IP stack with a program internally. This is opposed to the CR850 dialling out and controlling the IP stack - I have this working already at other sites. I have the modem going online ok and just need the last part of the system to work.
I am keen to get the AT commands required for the modem along with the logger settings required for this type of connection to work.
I am developing this because in the future I am going to add a VHF radio to the modem and make a link station. I need it to work with a cable before I try the radios.
Currently I have these commands to try
ATE (0 or 1)
ATV (0 or 1)
ATQ (0 or 1)
AT+IFC=0,0 or 2,2
AT+ICF=3,4
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
I am confused. You have have this working already at other sites? Are you saying that you've run into a snag because of the new modem? Or have you forgotten how you did it at the other sites?
I don't have the modem talking to a logger in the situation where the modem controls the IP stack. I do have it working where the logger controls the IP stack.
I am after the AT commands and logger settings that would be required to let the logger speak to the modem when the modem controls the IP stack. I am using the RS232 port for this.
